Introducing the Kenworth T680 Next Gen

Kenworth is rolling out the red carpet for the T680 Next Gen. This on-highway model has the best qualities of the previous T680 with some state-of-the-art features worked into its design specifications.

Fuel Efficiency

The T680 Next Gen offers up to 6% more fuel efficiency than the 2012 model. Engineers managed this by closing the space between the truck’s cab and its trailer. Side extenders make the truck more aerodynamic boosting its fuel efficiency.

An Aerodynamic Structure

The overall design of this truck including its narrow hood, bumpers, and wheel well closeouts make this model more aerodynamic than its predecessor.

The SmartWheel

At the top of the T680 Next Gen’s specifications list is its SmartWheel. The SmartWheel puts instrument control at the fingertips of the driver so there’s no need for eyes to leave the road. One of the functions on the SmartWheel is adaptive cruise control.

15-Inch Digital Display

The high-resolution instrument display has a customizable configuration. Drivers can see their speed, fuel, coolant, and oil levels at a glance.

• Number of miles traveled

Side Fender Turn Signal

Kenworth engineers included a slim turn signal light on each side fender. This allows drivers on either side of the T680 to clearly see a driver’s intentions.

LED Headlights

The specially designed LED headlights are powerful and durable. The daytime and nighttime running lights make the T680 all the more visible and distinctive on the road.

Collision Mitigation

This new model can detect the possibility of a collision which triggers pre-emptive braking action.

Lane Change Alert

If this on-highway truck begins to move out of its lane without signaling, the system gives the driver a warning alert so immediate adjustments can be made.

No More Blind Spots!

The innovative design of this new model monitors ‘blind spots.’ When a car or other object is in a blind spot, the system lets the driver know by visual and audio signals.

Comfortable Accommodations

A sleeper with a 76-inch-high roof, along with optional storage shelf and LED lights makes for comfortable relaxation on a long trip.
