Kenworth Sales Company Breaks Ground for new Las Vegas Location – 

North Las Vegas, NV – Kenworth Sales Company broke ground on a new North Las Vegas, NV located at 4450 Donovan Way, on December 13, 2018.  It will replace the current facility on Losee Drive.

The 65,000 square foot facility will include 27 service bays, expanded parts inventory, new and used truck sales, as well truck rental and leasing. 75 employees will be at this location, creating about 20 new opportunities.

On site for the groundbreaking, North Las Vegas Mayor, John Lee said “We are excited to have Kenworth here. Trucking is the lifeblood of this town. We live in the desert and without trucks we would have nothing.”

“This new store will allow us to better facilitate the needs of our customer base in the Las Vegas area,” District Manager Lynn Cusey said.  “Kenworth has been servicing this area for many years. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers and look forward to enhancing customer experience with this new, state of the art location.”

Boyd Martin Construction is heading up the project with the help of a number of local subcontractors.

Kimley-Horn  is the local engineer and while design is by NBW Architects. Financing provided by Zions Bank.

Founded in 1945, Kenworth Sales Company began as a “Mom & Pop” business in Salt Lake City and has since grown to more than 800 employees at 22 branch locations in seven western states (Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada, Washington, Montana, Oregon and Utah.)
